WILL WORK FOR SKI PASSES...
Dave was in charge of the dedication of Drew and Isaac’s new charter school building and they were in need of a picture taker... and I fit the bill (see titleJ). The dedication was sort of a big deal because somehow Dave was able to book the probably U.S. senator, Mike Lee, to speak.
I don’t think I would have had as many “sick” days if I went to this school growing up. It is located in the hills above Heber in the Olympic Cross Country Ski Park. The scenery is spectacular and being able to have skiing as part of their curriculum is pretty dang cool.

Final Day at the Farmer's Market...
Along with the practice of impulsiveness (see previous post), I love the concept of compromise...
Saturday morning I was able to get my fill at the farmers market... and in exchange... John was able to watch football all afternoon without me complaining. Now If only all give and take... was such a piece of cakeJ

Legends from the Fall...
One of the things I love about life is the concept of spontaneity. Knowing that I can wake up thinking it will be just another ordinary day... with dishes, diapers, and deciding what’s for dinner... and then out of the blue...I end up in this spot, feeling like I am on a vacation in the golden Appalachians...
When we started our hike the leaves were looking like a faded old flannel shirt... then we rounded a corner and came upon a clearing where the colors were as exuberant and outstanding as ever!
James...pre booking it right into the beaver pond.

Hiking might just be the best workout! We hiked for four fabulous hours and I didn't even realize I was exercising until this morning when my muscles felt like mush:)
