According to the baby bible, What to Expect When You're Expecting, this week my baby is the size of a lime. It also says, baby boys with lots of hair give their mamas more heartburn. I have horrible heartburn and I am only 12 weeks! So, above is how I keep picturing (and dreaming of) the little bundle in my belly- A baby boy lime with a huge Afro!
And, this is what I did this afternoon when I should have been working:) What can I say, I have my citrus sweetie on my mind and I can hardly wait until it grows to be a melon!

So I read one of those books and at like 6 weeks it said it was the size of a blueberry, so that's become her nickname already: blueberry. It's so funny how you just move through the produce section.
I like your name, "citrus sweetie"! You have the best way of seeing things, I love your imagination! Now the question is...is a lime Ricky or a lime Lizzy? Can't wait to meet whoever it is!
You make me laugh. Maybe you should capitalize on this then creating baby produce could be your work. I can see it--a whole line of baby lime.
Oh, how I laughed! I love your perspective on life. And you've got the artistic chops to back it up with pictures. I hope you take more time off work so you can continue to enlighten us.
And I wonder, at 3 pounds, what kind of produce was Daniel when he was born???
He/It has John's ears.
Oh right, lets just see how excited you are when he grows into a melon. (P.S. We only do bald babies in our family!)
So why is it that they always have to compare our little growing fetus' to food. When food is what makes us sick. Who knows?
I have heard that theory. I hope that it's a boy so your little kiddo's can play together. Either way they will have to be little buddies. It was so good to see you today. Lunch dates need to be a priority from now on.
You don't look big enough to have a lime in your belly, let alone a lima bean! It was so fun to see you the other day. I am so excited for you! Yay for babies!
Congrats! I know it is funny how they compare the size of a growing baby to food.
We don't tell people that we are pregnant until the second trimester because I have a hard time keeping them. But I wanted to put something on the blog so bad. So every week when I got the update about the size of the baby I would post a picture of the fruit on the side of my blog. No one ever figured it out. I remember posting my lime, seems like yesterday. Now I have a 15 pound bruiser.
So are you getting your updates from WTE? Did you know I work for them?
I'm so excited for you. The first baby is just so exciting. Hope you are starting to feel better! Heartburn already!?!?, that is horrible!
Hey! Congratulations!! I just read the news for the first time!!!
You are going to LOVE it!! Are you sick?
