An Oklahoma Christmas...

Grandpa's present from Grandma Gregory.

The kiddos were too excited to wait until Christmas to open presents. So Grandma Gregory decided to go ahead and let everyone open their presents on the Eve of Christmas Eve. That would have been my dream when I was little. I love how laid back John's mom is!

John's nieces, Annmarie and Katherine.

John's nephew, Wyatt.

James and Grandma Gregory.

James with his couz who is one week younger.

John's mom made these back in the day. So retro and cute!

James with his Grandpa Gregory.

Carla making her famous homemade pizza.

John's sister-in-law Sophia. Fact: Sophia is from Hong Kong and then Vancouver. Two of my favorite places. I love this gal and wish I got to see her more!

Looking at lights with just my two favorite men on Christmas Eve...

Pretty lights with pansies. Something we don't have in Utah.

All smiles...the big guy was good to us:)

A little abstract art of John's parent's Christmas tree. Give me a camera and I can be entertained for hours...

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! And HAPPEEEEEEEE New Years tonight!

Twas three days until Christmas...

View from James's window...
And we are completely snowed in.
(with LOADS of yummy brownies)...
So sayonara, to trying to be thin.

Just my cup of cocoa:)

Every time I look out the window at my neighbor's pergola I eat another one of Aunt Laura's crazy good cookies (they have a striking resemblance). I have a problem...the powdery snow makes me think of sugar...And the winter has only just begun!

James and I putting the last bit of trim on his trees

We are flying south for the winter... or at least a couple of weeks anyway:) We're headed to Oklahoma for a southern style Christmas .
See you by lunch Grandma and Grandpa Gregory (winter weather willing) .

TWAS JUST FOUR DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS PEEPS!!!

This recipe is soooo yummy (I left out the chicken).

Twas six days until Christmas...

And over the river and through Woodland we did go,
To get out of the valley rain and into the snow.
We gave gifts and acted out our Savior's birth
Then played outside and cozied up by the hearth.
Now you're probably sick of this silly rhyme
So without further adieu, here's the pics of our good time...

Twas seven days until Christmas...

Yesterday we saw David Archuleta sing with the choir.
The beautiful music we heard did inspire.
Heather has hook-ups for tickets through marriage.
The only thing better would have been if we arrived via carriage.
