On a Holland Holiday...

Long time, no blog!  For the last few weeks we've been in the Netherlands where John has been overseeing a contract for his Romania pipeline project.  We were able to cash in some of his miles and share his hotel room in the medieval town of Delft. I left the laptop at home so I kind of went crazy on instagram instead.  Sorry for the repeat of pics, but I want to print them with my blog so I am re-posting them here.  Our instagram site is here for friends and family who want to  know: http://instagram.com/jessjohngregory
Exploring the "New Church" (circa 1400)...new is a relative term in Europe:)  James and John climbed the 385 steps of what James called the Beast's Castle to the top of the bell tower.
Scenes from our day-to-day while John was at work.
-(Top left) the paparazzi was camped out in front of our hotel for a royal memorial service taking place at the church.  I joined in and got a picture of Bono.
(Bottom Right)  Our ride around town-a triple seat bike for me and the kids.
City square where the kids would play everyday chasing birds.
(Top right ) James getting scared when the organ spontaneously started playing at the cathedral we were exploring.  (Bottom left) View from our hotel window.  I loved hearing the bells chime to mark the time.   More pics coming soon.  It feels good to be back to blogging:)

So many beautiful pictures--they bless all of our lives by taking us somewhere we don't even know exists. Your camera is a window to such an amazing adventure for each of us--we love you--keep posting even if we all don't comment!

I also want to holland next summer.
We are looking for apartments in amsterdam, but it's a little bit expensive but it's worth it.
