His Ikea-ish sleep space
They built this museum with a hole in it so it wouldn't block the view of the castle in the background.
This picture proves that this wasn't all sauerkraut and sightseeing. He spent most of his time in grimy pipe mills. But I'd still say the perks make it a pretty posh way to earn a paycheck...as long as he doesn't have to be so far from his family every month. Because we'd miss him too much!

Oh, it is all so European...it is good to get a sense of life outside the art museums...one thing we never did in Paris was hit the mills. Thanks for sharing! (Did he sing, even under his breath, one Sound of Music song while he was there?)
