Pictures from "one of those March days."

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."― Charles DickensGreat Expectations

One of my favorite books!

A new garden just opened in Hermann park.

It's delightful!
Family walk in the "Robot Forest."

Friday's theme was "a trip to see the pretty trees and then lunch at Chuck E. Cheese."  It is going to be a new bi- weekly tradition.

We've been enjoying the calming sound of pitter patter the last few days-Rain and little feet.

James is an architect and builder with decorative pillows.  He worked all morning making a palace for him and his "pup."
Tonight was Family Home Evening.  The kids love this Monday night tradition!
Before the lesson and games we have each family member stand up to be recognized for an achievement.  Then everyone enthusiastically claps and they take a bow.  I always want to whip out my video camera, but with out fail, we are always half dressed for family night.  So until a miracle where we are half decent, I will just document it on the blog.

James:  For planning the lesson at joy school last week.
Rissy:  For learning to do a somersault.
Tommy: For getting his first tooth.
Daddy:  For giving a great presentation at work and making this amazing banana cream pie!
Mama: For making a delicious egg and toast dinner.

Okay, I love that tradition of recognizing everyone each week. I think I might start that, even at this late stage in our family's life. Thanks for sharing that idea.
And that pie looks divine.
