Living "life elevated" with aunts, uncles, and cool mountain air. The Wasatch Mountains will always be my favorite playground. Here are pictures for when I am having a flat Houston day and crave a little more canyon and a little less country club. I always say, "home is where the heart is," and this week it is definitely in these hills, with family, friends, and thankfully, here, no forest fires...

My Big Fat Draper Family...and a Wedding
So happy to be back in the Wasatch Front with my family.
My cousin Chelsea after tying the knot to Tim.
The most dressed up James has ever been. It is very hard to get him out of a superhero shirt.
Loving spending time with my siblings!
Waking up to my mom's beautiful garden. And the much cooler mountain air.
My parents have eight different bathrooms but all us siblings still go all Brady Bunch and get
ready in my mom's.
James's uncles and cousins are teaching him lots of new tricks.
Heather's two week old baby is even cuter in person! Now back to the fam, because before we know it we will be flying home!

Up Up And Away...
Here's a quick post of pictures before I start packing. The past few days reminded me why I love weekends (and Houston). Lots of rest and relaxation, playing in parks, Tex Mex cooking, and family time.
One of my favorite (and free) spots in Houston. The Japanese Garden in Herman Park.
Supper with my Super-men.
Carla gave me a silhouette of John when he was a kid. So I made one of James and framed it for Father's day.
See you soon, Utah fam. I am so excited, I am not going to be able to sleep!

Super Dad...
Sometimes I am forced to improvise...
when finding a Spider-Man disguise...
But my daddy said, "this just won't do!"
And came back from his closet with something new...
Now, whose the man standing in the mirror?...
I look just like the real Buzz Light-year.
Yup, playing pretend is something I'll always adore...
But nothing beats the sound of an engine roar!
Thanks for making my dreams come true dad. Happy Father's Day weekend. Love, James.
(Now, please don't forget this post when I'm 16
Because I'd love the keys to this Lighting Mcqueen:).
