Hooked on Halloween...

The big night that James has been counting down to since last Halloween finally came.  He started the holiday out as hook, but ten minutes till show time decided to go with Buzz  Light Year.  Don't you miss the days when deciding what to wear for Halloween was the biggest decision you had to make?
Our breakfast.  Bone appetite!
Cutting it close. We finished carving our pumpkin just in time to put it on the porch.
Spooky neighbor's house we walked by 100 times before the holiday.   Texans go bigger and scarier.
Witches brew.
Pumpkin shaped pizza.
Dry ice in Dr Pepper was a hit.
Trick or Treating with friends.  James was happy to be hanging with these Spidermen and the Cat in the Hat.
First family photo and Rissy's face is covered.  Note to self:  Try again as soon as we are all dressed at the same time.  Hmmm.  So much harder than it sounds.
James loved trick or treating and outlasted many of the big kids.  Our neighborhood looked like Time Square with all the people who had trucked in.  I guess all the grannys we live by lure them in with the good stuff.  It was nice to see more kiddos about.  If only some of them would stick around so James could have more playmates.  Thank goodness for play-dates at the park.
Now on to Fangsgiving... I mean Thanksgiving;)

Not sure where you are getting all your energy these days...must be that you are living at sea level and not up here in the high Unitahs. This was my first year with no trick or treaters and no one trick or treating--now I have to live vicariously through the grandkids. Tell James to save Nana an Almond Joy!
