Yesterday we pretended to be in the tropics at Huntsville's Blue Lagoon...
James was so excited for the big day that the night before he opted to sleep with his snorkel gear instead of Max the Monkey.
It was so pretty and peaceful and the turquoise water almost made us forget we were in Texas.
Just another play-date in paradise.
We ate dinner at Church BBQ, next to and actually run by members of a
Southern Baptist
church. The coleslaw almost made me convert right then and there:)
I am so glad we met “Friday fun day” friends. I can now
cross off back floating in a lake off my summer bucket list. But we are going to pencil the Blue Lagoon in again for fall b/c it was that awesome!

Fun! How close is that to your house??
An hour and fifteen minutes. Closer than the beach. And no alligators, sharks, or stinging jelly fish! Come visit and we will go!
