This past week in Utah there have been several signs of
spring peeking up through the snow. Change is in the air all around us.
On Saturday we enjoyed a warm day at Nana and grandpa’s cabin with several of the
cousins. We had cross-country ski races, a big spaghetti dinner, enjoyed
girl talk, played games, painted pictures, built snow forts, and relaxed by the
fire. I am savoring this sliver of time
where I can hang out with my cousins while James hangs out with his. Like the changing seasons, I know things don’t
stay the same forever. It will keep getting harder to get
us all together as everyone gets older, marries, and has kids. So
here is our fabulous winter weekend before it all melts away…
In case you are wondering, I won the cross-country relay (along with the award for most ridiculous fall). Thanks for the wonderful weekend everyone. Skiing is always a fabulous way to end a season!
