A Scholarly Stroll...

If you are looking for a special way to jump start your Sabbath day, take a stroll through a college campus early on a Sunday morning.

Thanks to generous patrons there is usually a plethora of cathedral like buildings, lush landscaping, and peaceful pathways. The magnitude of the architecture plus the solitude of the grounds (thanks to all the sleeping students) is sure to inspire.

I always feel a sense of reverence on a college campus. I hope that heaven is something like this. I had no idea that Rice was in Houston--guess I never thought about where it is located. Your crystal clear pictures make me realize that I am going to have to fork out the money to have my lens repaired-- pronto!! I never cease to be amazed how you find "art" in everything! Please keep sharing--I have become a magazine junkie lately looking at the world through other peoples lenses. Plus I heart, we heart it, thanks for steering me there. How early did you have to go to beat the heat?
